Coronavirus (Covid-19) updated information for SEND families
The government has recently updated its guidance on the temporary changes to SEND legislation relating to coronavirus (Covid-19).
To summarise the main points, South Gloucestershire Council has refreshed their SEND information for families webpage, which contains useful information for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Included are links to the Integra home learning resources for parents, and the weekly SENsational newsletters, which can be found on our SEND Local Offer.
There are also links to South Glos Parent Carers website, which contains a range of resources and links to help you.
Please note that during the current pandemic, some of the information and services listed in our SEND Local Offer may be affected in line with the temporary legislative changes. We therefore recommend that parents and carers bookmark and visit the SEND information for families webpage on the main South Gloucestershire Council website, in order to get the latest information on the council’s response, updates on services and what support is available.
