November e-bulletin from Supportive Parents now available
Supportive Parents is the South Gloucestershire Special Educational Needs Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS). SENDIASS is a statutory service the local authority must provide.
Supportive Parents provide Children and Young People (0-25 yrs), Parents and Carers with free, confidential, and impartial information, advice and support to help them participate fully in planning for their special education, health and social care needs, as well as for their future.

Highlights include:
- Upcoming virtual support sessions: running during both the daytime and evening and covering topics such as choosing a primary school and tips for communicating with schools and or/professionals
- Annual Review day on 24 November: parents and carers can book a 1:1 virtual appointment with a trained advisor to discuss their child's Annual Review
- Recorded webinars covering topics such as moving onto school and transition to secondary school.
