South Gloucestershire Area Co-production charter

We are proud to announce the development and publication of the South Gloucestershire Area Co-production Charter: our shared commitment to co-production and working together ‘the South Glos Way’.

Having users at the heart of strategic decision-making helps to bring children and young people, parents and services together to form a shared vision, make a difference, and to bring about real change.

Co-production is not about asking for children, young people or parent carers views on a piece of completed work; it is about working on the piece of work together right from the start.

To formalise the way we work across the local area with regards to Co- production, we have developed in partnership a Co- production charter. This is a statement of intent that shows our commitment of how we would like to work together.

You can read the charter here.

This charter can be used by any other groups or organisations in South Gloucestershire
to help implement Co-production as a way of working.
