Accessible Transport 4 U

Door to door accessible service for people who prefer to have their own supportive and safe transport.

We pride ourselves on helping you to get out and enjoy life, to become more active or just to do what you need or want to do day to day.
Our aim is to make every journey you take a stress free door to destination experience.  Whether it’s a few miles to the local supermarket or across the country to visit family. The service runs 365 days a year 24:7, including Christmas and bank holidays. We operate from the South West of England to anywhere in the UK mainland.

Once you become a member you can book the service for regular journeys in advance and do not need to telephone again unless you need to cancel the booking. Our booking process is simple – just ring, email or text us the details and we will get back to you to confirm your booking as soon as possible.  We do ask you give at least a week’s notice of any booking, however, in an emergency, bookings may well be possible. NEVER put off ringing us.
“I use this company all the time. They get me to work and back every day. They take me to all my doctors and hospital appointments. I would be lost without this company. The drivers are very helpful. It is community transport not a taxi so sometimes you may have to compromise. However, it provides a great service and allows those of us with mobility issues to get out and about”.  (Member September 2021)

Typical journeys our current members make include; hospital, dentist, or doctors’ appointments, shopping, work, respite/holiday breaks, sport activities and social events.
“We use this company for my son’s hospital, school, absolutely everywhere we would be very lost without this company amazing drivers”.  (Member’s mother October 2021)

For more information please contact us whichever way is suited to you. Our landline number is 0117 9657449 or if you prefer texting please text 07773194950 (this is our emergency 24:7 contact telephone).  If no-one is available to answer your telephone call always leave a message, we always return calls as soon as we can.  Alternatively you can email; at4u@accessibletransport4u.org.uk

Our service is intended to be independent and flexible to meet the needs of our members. We are a not for profit community interest company whose aims are to provide a financially, as well as physically, accessible service to our members to get out and about, doing things they otherwise would not do because of transport issues.

We receive grants from charitable organisations which enables us to subsidise some journeys, but not all. So it is best to obtain quotes for longer journeys.  We do not receive funding from any local council in order to keep our transport services flexible, but do operate under contracts from Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset to provide specific transport services.
We are keen to expand into other areas in the South West and further afield under our franchise business plan.
