Bristol Dementia Action Alliance

Bristol Dementia Action Alliance
Welcome to Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA). We were formed on the 9th July 2013 as a result of a public meeting asking the question “Is Bristol a Dementia Friendly City?” Our conclusions were that, although there was a lot of support and help for people living with Dementia and their carers, more could be done.
We are a non-profit-making, community-based project, totally resourced by volunteers. We are also part of an “Alliance” of similar groups throughout the UK, working towards enabling their communities to become more Dementia aware.
We operate on the generosity of sponsors, donations and goodwill!
Our Vision:
BDAA aims to enable Bristol to become “The Dementia Friendly City of the UK.”
We will reach our vision by working with:

Anyone prepared to be involved
