Engineering Curiosity- Kingswood
Bloodhound Education is a charity which delivers hands-on science and engineering activities for schools, uniformed groups, after school and holiday clubs, and the local community. Our charity has over 13 years’ experience delivering practical enrichment workshops engaging families of all ages.
We are pleased to say we have secured funding from South Gloucestershire Council via the Department for Education through the Holiday Activities and Food Programme to run 4 days of activities this Christmas.
Date and Time: Thursday 11th April 2024 10am – 12noon Strong Bridges
12.30pm-2.30pm Rocket Cars
You can book for the morning, afternoon or both sessions.
For Whom: Families with children aged 5 upwards. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: Fully funded for children who live in South Gloucestershire and are entitled to benefit-related free school meals.
Activity: Strong bridges – Can you build a bridge that supports 1, 2 or 3 kilos in weight? Test out your idea and see how much load it can take before it collapses.
