WECIL (The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living) is a charity run by and for disabled people in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

We offer a range of services which support over 4,000 disabled people every year – in all different areas of their lives. Together, these combine to provide an holistic package of support, uniquely tailored to the individual, and working to enable disabled people to have more choice and control over their lives.

10 week Drama Workshop (Young Disabled People Aged 16-25) £5 per session includes Refreshments Parents/Carers will be responsible for picking up/dropping off the young person at the venue Evening Youth Club (Aged 13-19) £5 per session includes Refreshments Parents/Carers will be responsible for picking up/dropping off the young person at the venue Saturday and School Holiday Day Trips (Young Disabled People ages 13-19) £25-£50 Dependent on trip location includes Entry Fee, Lunch, Refreshments, Transport (from a meeting point) Parents/Carers will be responsible for picking up/dropping off the young person at the meeting point Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (Young Disabled People ages 14-24) £200 for the Bronze Award includes: DofE Accreditation 2 x Expeditions All equipment/food etc. for expedition Travel to/from expedition from central meeting point Support and Guidance throughout the award Upon completion an invitation to an awards evening to be presented with your award Parents/Carers will be responsible for picking up/dropping off the young person at the meeting point Parents/Carers will be responsible for Young People to be wearing appropriate clothing for outdoor activity.

Description

Inclusion Group

This regular group is for young disabled people and non-disabled young people in Bristol aged 13-18 years. Many of the sessions run every week, some are every other week. The sessions host a range of different activities, including: Table tennis, pool, visits to local parks, karaoke, music and dancing, arts and crafts, team building games and a variety of both indoor and  outdoor sports are used to promote socialising, confidence, self-esteem and the building of relationships between young people.
