Sensory Impairment Team - Independence Support for Disabled People The Sensory Impairment Team is part of Adult Social Care, Bristol City Council. They are a citywide team, working with Bristol citizens who are aged over 18 and are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafened, Deafblind or Visually Impaired. The Sensory Impairment Team provide support, advice and rehabilitation services in Bristol in line with the Care Act 2014, as well as offering Care Act assessments to those who may have longer term needs for care and support. As a multi-professional team, they are committed to supporting Bristol citizens to maximise their independence and achieve their goals.
