Youth Visual Impairment Friendly After-School Club

This is our brand new After-School Rowing club for 11 to 18-year-olds with Visual Impairments. Participants will learn fixed-seat rowing in a lightweight rowing boat, Trinity boat, in Bristol Harbour. Volunteers and an Instructor will run this session on Fridays (during term-time) at 5PM to 7PM from end of April to October. 

The session involves participants orientating around the oar and boat and practising stroke before setting off on a trip upriver on Bristol Harbour which cuts through the heart of the city. 

No experience is needed. Buoyancy aids will be provided.
