Children’s Playlink Brandon trust
We offer holiday play schemes to approximately 200 disabled children and young people. The schemes run in Yate, Little Stoke, Kingswood, and Thornbury.
Running during Easter, Summer, October, and February school holidays, they provide respite for parents and carers, and offer a setting where children can enjoy fun activities.
Play and youth schemes for children with additional needs
With funding from South Gloucestershire Council, we're able to offer holiday play schemes for disabled children and young people. Schemes run in Yate, Little Stoke, Kingswood, and Thornbury.
Following very successful schemes over a number of years, we continue to provide the schemes during Easter holidays, Summer holidays, October half-term, and February half-term.
The schemes aim to provide a fun and safe environment for children to play and learn, to get involved in community activities, make friends and develop their confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
Booking forms will be available a few weeks before each scheme starts.
Buddy Scheme
Children’s Playlink, commissioned by South Gloucestershire Council’s Department for Children, Adults and Health, has run the buddy scheme for the last decade.
Funding is available to support children and young people to attend mainstream play and leisure activities in their local community, with the aim of providing new experiences, promoting friendships, encouraging independence and a sense of achievement, and improving self-confidence.
