Community Welcome Space - Yate Warm Welcome - Armadillo Youth Cafe

Free tea and coffee; Mental health support (via off the record); Free wi-fi; Free charging points for phone and other devices;  Budgeting advice on managing utility bills; Information, advice and guidance services; Activities such as cooking and budgeting courses; Mentoring; Job Club.

Other additional facilities such as weekly free cinema, access to youth sessions.  The building, which is heated and fully accessible, is operational from 8.30 in the morning until 9pm at night. It caters for a range of different needs, and lends itself perfectly to being a safe/ safeguarded, friendly, Warm Welcome space for the whole community.  Free tea and coffee is available during Warm Welcome sessions, and visitors are welcome to relax in the large, café-style seating area, or alternatively join in the many group activities on offer throughout the week, for example, senior coffee mornings, community cinema, youth sessions etc. (Please note there is a small charge for some additional activities e.g. refreshments at cinema sessions, core activities are free of charge.)
