Find primary schools

Choosing a school for your child is an important decision that any parent has to make.

Before you decide on a primary school arrange to visit your local schools to get a feel for their ethos and their values.

When visiting think about how it made you feel.  Did you feel welcomed? Could you imagine your child feeling happy, safe and included at the school?

You can find out more information about the school by visiting their website and looking for the school prospectus.

Primary education is for children aged between 4 to 11.

This includes the following school types:

  • Infant - reception, years 1 and 2
